Susan Kaempfer was awarded the Gold Leaf Service Above Self Award in January 2018. The Board of Directors at Develop New Albany nominated her for this award which was given by the Jeffersonville Rotary Club. We are thankful for her volunteer commitment to the New Albany Farmers' Market for the last 14 years.

"Susan has been instrumental in developing, maintaining and volunteer staffing the year-round New Albany Farmer’s Market since 2004. She has played a key role in building the market from the beginning years to currently welcoming over 50 vendors in the summer and over 50,000 visitors a year! She has volunteered on committees, events and the Board of Directors for Develop New Albany. We are thankful to have her as a part of our organization." Submitted by Board of Directors
